Recently ordered 4 petite gateux (Box of Gem) for my partner and had it delivered to her house.
The delivery process was fast and smooth.
Here is my honest review for the petite gateux :
1. Mango yuzu was unexpectedly the favourite as the mango itself is not too sweet nor sour and it compliments fairly well the cheese layer. Absolutely superb!
2. Originally a bit skeptical for the avocado one but how the avocado and chocolate compliments each other to create that deep and rich flavour. I woulf say it was a bit mind-blowing experience.
3. Strawberry one truly met the first impression. Not too sweet and not too sour.
4. La lune was what drawn me to purchase the selection. For me, it taste quite good, with how oolong profile pairs well with the cheese layer.
But for my partner, due to personal preference about brown sugar in general. It is her least favourite.
Nonetheless, it is a good experience and would definitely try out other cakes for upcoming occasion!

Bought the avocado cake from Jy Food Lab and it was absolutely superb! 🥑🎂 The avocado flavour was so good and the cake was really delicious. Highly recommend it to everyone who loves avocado! Definitely worth trying!

First time trying the La Lune cake, and we absolutely loved it! The moment we cut into it, we could immediately smell the lovely fragrance of oolong tea.
My family aren’t big cake eaters as we usually find cakes too sweet, but we actually finished the whole cake! It was light, fragrant, and had just the right balance of sweetness. Definitely one we’d order again!

Ordered the La Lune from JYFoodLab and it was absolutely delicious! The taste was so nice and wonderful, even the whole family loved it! ❤️ Definitely worth trying, and I’ll be placing a repeat order for the other flavours for sure. Can’t wait to try them! Highly recommended!

Bought a cake for my mum after her doctor advised to monitor her sugar intake. Since it was our first time trying a low carb cake, I didn't have much expectations but was so surprised! The service was excellent, they really knew their stuff and explained that the cakes are gluten-free and white sugar free (with only natural sugars from the nuts). Best of all, the cake was absolutely delicious. My mum loved it and was so happy she could still enjoy a birthday treat!

The cake was really esthetic and delicious. I had a mixed feeling of cutting it😅.. Texture was really soft and the cheese layer was amazing.. I really enjoy the cake very much.. Excellent effort in making this 5 ⭐ cake.. Compliment your chef for making this cake into both esthetically pleasing and delicious work of art.. 👍🏻

Hi, we really enjoy & loved the cake. We finished it in 1 go. Beautiful cake, look & taste wise. My wife said the upper & mid part remind her the taste & texture of Terengganu’s Puding Buih.
Maybe can add a thin crunchy biscuit layer at the bottom to further enhance the mouth experience 😄
We would definitely comeback for other cakes. Thank you

The avocado cake is beautiful, flawless and artsy. Love the add-on packaging, steel knife, delivery and the overall communication.
I thought the flavour and textures are unique, but it might not be for everyone, as it may be an acquired taste. Some of family members including my 7-year old niece didn’t enjoy the flavour but my dad loves it. It really depends if you like to try new flavours or would rather stick with the usual, crowd-pleasing flavours for all.
Nevertheless, i hope to try more cakes from JY and will purchase again next time 😄

Hi, love the cake. The lychee was definitely my favorite. The taste is sweet and light and it was amazing to alternate the chocolate and the lychee. The chocolate cake too was a surprise for me because we didn’t expect the cherry at the bottom to go so well. My experience with cherry has always been disappointing so it was quite an eye opener. Will definitely order it again 10/10, would love it if there are more options for small size cake because I would honestly order from you guys and I prefer small size cake so that I can eat variety. Thank you so much for the lovely cake. The shop itself is quite easy to find and I love the smell when I came in 😆
